Brand Ambassador

VIP Petcare is a fast paced, innovative company looking for honest, professional team members who have a passion for pets and the people who love them. We provide a wide variety of preventative pet care services through our community clinics.

We are currently looking for a VIP Brand Ambassador to join our growing team! 

The VIP Brand Ambassador owns building and maintaining brand awareness, partner relations and point of sale material for assigned field office.

Essential Functions/Job Duties

  • Primary engagement role for all partner relationships.  Visit key partners at a minimum of once per month, more if able.  Ensure touchpoint is Store Manager or member of management team
  • Strategize and create plans with Field Operations Manager and partner management teams in order to drive KPIs
  • Ensure current POS material is displayed in all partner locations.  Ensure partner staff are aware of current clinic setups and all promotions
  • Inspect POS materials for wear and tear and order if needed
  • Visit local shelters/ rescue at a minimum of once per quarter to form/strengthen relationships.  Provide relevant marketing material (cat carriers, leashes, etc.)
  • Determine new client sources such as groomers, boarders, locally based companies and community facilities who may come into contact with potential clients.  Create an ongoing relationship for future client opportunities
  • Document all contacts and interactions in Apollo as a record of your work and follow up
  • Maintain a relationship through ongoing communication with Field Operations Manager and Community Relations personnel
  • Spend time at our clinics (mostly weekends) for 2-3 weeks to train and then one clinic shift per month to maintain skills
  • Live our values and reinforce brand promise with partners, clients and team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Field Operations Manager, Assistant Field Operations Manager and/or Senior Field Operations Manager

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Industry relevant experience in customer service
  • Minimum two years of experience in a leadership role
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Safe driving record

  • Must successfully pass criminal history background check and motor vehicle record check


Licenses and Certification

  • Valid Driver’s License required


  • Must enjoy and be comfortable working with pets of all sizes and temperaments, including handling and lifting animals as necessary
  • Ability to drive motor vehicles in various terrain and weather conditions
  • Sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Large percentage of work day may be spent in vehicle
  • Work for prolonged periods of time at a desk utilizing a computer
  • Work for prolonged periods of time in the field, including 12-14 hours days on occasion
  • Fast-paced, fluid work environment
  • Lift up to 150 pounds assisted
  • Stand/walk/move about for prolonged periods of time while at a clinic
  • Schedule includes weekends, with occasional overnight and holiday work
  • Some outdoor clinic work and activities may be necessary
